tuna nicoise salad

It’s that time of the week again. My Everyday Food Challenge update. This weeks brings us issue #9 and a perfect summertime french-inspired Tuna Nicoise Salad. Unfortunately, this recipe is not available at marthastewart.com. I’ve been thinking that I could create a drinking game to go along with my Everyday Food Challenge posts.  Every time that I refer to a recipe as “simple”, take a drink. That’s because they all are pretty much just that easy to make. Including the boiling of the potatoes, this dish came together in just under thirty minutes. And those red fig tomatoes. Yeah, they’re from my garden. One of my favorite things about summer.

So next week marks ten weeks of the Everyday Food Challenge. I suppose that should include a prize for one of you loyal readers. Stay tuned.  Until then, help me pick out what I’ll cook from issue 10.

  1. Thanks Mike! I was just at the grocery store and while I was picking through the green beans, I remembered this post. I’ll be making a nicoise salad this weekend for my boyfriend and myself!
